Every genuine perfume carries a batch code, a short set of digits/letters printed or stamped on the box base AND on the bottle (etched into glass or printed on the base label). Three checks in one: the code exists in both places, the two codes match, and the bottle's code is applied cleanly, not on a crooked sticker. Mismatched or missing batch codes are close to conclusive.
